Social Contributions

Dong-A Publishing Printing has been carrying out community service activities that fit its business direction in education and culture, focusing on nurturing talent for the future.

Dong-A Publishing "Dream-Tree" Scholarship

Eligibility

- 4th–6th graders in elementary school (awarded to 50 students every year)
- Students from the class eligible for government assistance, next needy class, and single-parent families

Specifics of the support

- KRW 500,000 in scholarship (awarded one time)
- Dong-A Publishing’s educational books and materials (e.g., reference books, workbooks, videos) are provided
until the student graduates from high school.

Selection method

- Students are selected from 25 districts of Seoul City in partnership with the Seoul Scholarship Foundation.

- 2014년 12월 서울시 관내 초등학생 50명
- 51 elementary students in Seoul City in December 2013
- 50 elementary students within the jurisdiction of Seoul Dongbu District Office of Education in December 2012
- 43 elementary students within the jurisdiction of Ansan Office of Education in December 2011
- 50 elementary students within the jurisdiction of Seoul Bukbu District Office of Education in December 2010
- 50 elementary students within the jurisdiction of Seoul Jungbu District Office of Education in December 2009
- 50 elementary students within the jurisdiction of Seoul Seongbuk District Office of Education in December 2008
- 50 elementary students within the jurisdiction of Seoul Dongjak District Office of Education in December 2007
- 53 elementary students within the jurisdiction of Seoul Seobu District Office of Education in December 2006
- 57 elementary students within the jurisdiction of Seoul Nambu District Office of Education in December 2005
